Synced video for depositions (beta)

NEW

You can now attach video to a deposition transcript and review testimony with the video and the text locked together. Click any word in the transcript to jump the video to that moment, or let the transcript follow along as the video plays with the current word highlighted. Playback controls include speed from 0.25x to 4x, 5-second skips, and full screen, and the status bar tells you which page and line you are on and whether you are inside a designation.

No sync file is needed. Casefleet transcribes the audio and aligns it to the certified transcript word by word, and multi-volume depositions are ordered automatically and play as one continuous timeline. If you have your court videographer's OpenDVT sync file, you can apply it instead.

To add video, open a deposition and choose Manage synced video from the viewer menu. MP4, MOV, and MPG files up to 8 GB are supported. Processing can take up to an hour; we email you when it is ready. Transcription minutes count toward your plan's transcription allowance, billed the same as other audio and video, and appear in your live usage totals the following day.

Synced video is in beta and available on request. Contact support@casefleet.com to turn it on for your firm.
